Japanese is booked for Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya families relocating to Dubai, plus corporate visitors who need a linguist who can hold a formal register. English at a DIFC table is common; Japanese at a hospital bedside or a school enrolment is what the family actually follows.

Typical jobs are visa medicals, school interviews, specialist clinics and factory or free-zone site visits. Court and notary stay human-only. A female interpreter is often requested for maternity and gynaecology.

Standard Japanese is the default. Mention if keigo must stay strict for a client meeting, or if the family prefers a softer everyday register in clinic.

Send the appointment letter and any kanji names in advance. Wristbands and Amer files reject a romaji guess that does not match the passport.
