Uzbek

Uzbek is requested across Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara families now living in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Russian is often the workplace language; Uzbek is the language of the household and of the older relative at the clinic.

Amer family files, hospital consults, labour offices and school meetings. A female interpreter can be requested. Court and police stay human-only.

Standard Uzbek is the default. Mention if Cyrillic or Latin script is on the documents, and if Russian will also be spoken.

Bring passport copies with both Latin and Cyrillic spellings if you have them. Mismatched names delay Amer and hospital files.
