Court interpreter versus the meeting captions bot
The captions product is for calls where live text is enough and everyone has been told a bot is listening. A hearing is not that call.
Record vs convenience
What is said in court can be relied on later. A phone microphone in someone’s pocket is not an interpreter of record. We send a person with a name.
When captions are fine
Internal business calls, after consent, English or Arabic speech on this device. Never visa counters, never wards, never dockets.
